EIFS/ETICS

Improving thermal insulation offers an efficient approach to significantly cutting down this consumption. External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS/EIFS) are multi-layered systems designed to improve building energy efficiency while withstanding temperature changes, moisture, and mechanical stress. They typically consist of Adhesive, Base Render, Plaster, and a Decorative finishing layer.

Testing

Water drop to top Coat

Water droplets are applied to the coat's surface using a micropipette. The duration for which the droplets remain without being absorbed is then measured, providing an initial indication of the surface's hydrophobicity.

Flexibility

Thermal insulation plaster requires high flexibility to accommodate substrate movements and thermal expansion, helping prevent cracking and delamination.

Adhesive test for ETICS

Tensile adhesion strength is a key performance indicator. This test measures the adhesive’s ability to resist separation from the tile or substrate under tension,which always classified as C1/C2.
